When You Need Your Digital Aid Repaired

You have two options when you need to have your digital hearing aid repaired: either take it to a local hearing aid store or ship it direct to a quality repair lab like Hearing Haven. If you have already tried the local option without satisfaction, scroll down to the blue box below for more information on how to immediately get your digital hearing aid on it's way to be repaired...

Using A Local Dealer

You can take it to a local hearing aid dealer or audiologist. If it is just plugged with wax or a simple problem, they may be able to fix it. If they cannot repair it there, they will either talk to you about buying a new hearing aid or suggest sending it off for repair.

They may send it back to the original manufacturer for repair. Sometimes this is the best solution, however, it is usually the highest cost, and also the slowest option.

Another problem that many digital hearing aid users run into is that hearing aid manufacturers are beginning to only repair hearing aids that are less than five years old.

Your local hearing aid dealer may send it to an independent all-make hearing aid repair lab. This can be good or bad, depending on what lab they use.

Advantages of Using Hearing Haven

We charge $175 for most repairs.

Hearing Haven allows you to optimize your choices, by sending it directly to the repair lab, avoiding the retail markup, and being able to have direct communications.

This way, you can speak with us until you feel comfortable sending us your hearing aid, you can get your repair done for less by avoiding the retail mark-up, and you can deal directly with the people who are repairing your hearing aid.

This allows you to be assured that your aid's problem, and any special requests you may have, are made clear; this will reduce the time it takes to repair your hearing aid, and ensure that it is done correctly the first time.

If we run into anything that requires your authorization or further instruction, we will contact you directly. There are no delays or misunderstandings from the hearing aid dealer or audiologist acting as a mediator between you and your hearing aid.
